Whether you choose a maintained forest service road or a rough trail to the back woods you are sure to find something to fit your level and time schedule including anything from a couple of hours of fun in the sun, to a full day of the most beautiful rugged high mountain terrain, only viewed from the roughest 4X4s. |

If you do go into the mountains be prepared, take plenty of food and water, extra clothes, first aid kit, and spare tires, those rocky roads are notorious for blowing a few every year. Also remember to tell someone where you are going, so that in the event of an emergency search and rescue will have a direction to start. By being prepared you are assured a relaxing adventurous day, full of fun,scenery, watch able wildlife, and unforgettable memories.
Remember that many trails are multi-use so be prepared to meet Hikers, Horse Back Riders or Bikers. Always consult a map before starting for any trail changes.
