Hunters come every year to the San Juan Mountains and the San Luis Valley. RV sites, and cabins are available. We are open year-round to accommodate the winter sportsman. Hunting Licenses are available, in gift shop.

Skiers and snowboarders find the Wolf Creek ski area one of the best mountain destinations. It is noted to have the most snow in Colorado and to be the third least crowded ski area in the western U.S. and Canada. Lonesome Dove is the second closest lodging to "The Wolf" and we offer discount lift tickets! Group rates are available.

Additional winter activities in the area include snowmobiling, cross country skiing, ice fishing, ice skating, and sleigh rides.

In the shadow of the mountains is our campground, a great place to spend a few days or entire season. We have full hook-up RV sites, tent sites,satellite TV, campfires, grills and picnic tables. Laundry facilities, showers, hot tub, restrooms, and a recreation room are also available to our guests.

We offer unique, completely furnished log cabins, which are delightfully cozy, each with its' own charm. Included is a furnished kitchen, double beds, private showers, satellite TV, mountain view and park-at-your-door convenience.
