Location East of town
Who doesn’t like two days of down and dirty music in the great outdoors on riverfront property? Peruse the vendors, play some horseshoes, and dance the night away to 10+ bands...don’t worry about driving, on-site camping is part of the whole Rhythms experience.
RHYTHMS ON THE RIO (ROTR) is a 3 day festival on the banks of the mighty Rio Grande River surrounded by 2 million acres of the Rio Grande National Forest. Produced by the South Fork Music Association, this annual festival prides itself on great music, an intimate, "small" festival experience and giving back to community. All proceeds are 100% used for children's music programs and we have provided grants to Centennial, Center, Del Norte School Systems as well as the inaugural San Luis Valley Percussion Academy. Yoga, family fun & camping on site with affordable pricing make this a true Colorado festival.
The South Fork Music Association is a non-profit organization that supplies music programs for children of the San Luis Valley. It also hosts the Rhythms on the Rio Music Benefit Festival bringing world class musicians to Colorado at a price everyone can afford. MUSIC for MUSIC'S SAKE
