President's Weekend, Saturday and Sunday, February 16 & 17 at the Rio Grande Club!
The Woof Creek Dog Sled & Skijor Race is a two-day ISDRA sanctioned dog sled race held on a snow track at the beautiful Rio Grande Club in South Fork, Colorado. The race includes 4 and 6 Dog Sled, 4 and 6 Dog Sled Registered Breed, 2-Dog & 1-DogSkijor and Sportsman’s Sled and Skijor. Skijor races are with a human skier pulled by one or two dogs.
The Rio Grande Club is an award-winning golf course with a clubhouse and two restaurants. In addition to the dog sled races, there will be indoor activities in the clubhouse. On Saturday, there will be a gourmet chili lunch and Musher’s Dinner & Dance with live music from the popular Saguache group called the Roadrunners. On Sunday there will be more indoor activities and a brunch service.
